Last May, Stephen Curry had added to a season full of broken records with his "I'm Back!" game to lead the Golden State Warriors a 3-1 lead over the Portland Trail Blazers in the second round of the 2016 NBA Playoffs.
Curry scored an NBA-record 17 points in overtime to crush the Blazers' chances of evening the series before heading back to Oakland. The Warriors went on to ending a season full of great effort from the Blazers in Game 5 in Oakland.
if you don't recall the way Curry blew up in overtime, Apricot broke down the whole thing after the game. But Blazers owner Paul Allen's reaction at the time was an instant classic, capturing just how mindblowing Curry's performance was.

I bring this memorable moment up now because there are times when folks on Twitter seem to forget all that when they're repeating the same old tired jokes.
We're playing that team with that new player tonight. We put the odds right around 3-1.

How soon people forget.
Enjoy this game tonight against that team with that past player who left them to seek greater success elsewhere...and get ready for a whole season of bad jokes.
