★★★

A good friend of mine is an Oklahoma City Thunder fan and every year, no matter who comes in hotter or who's favored in Vegas, I have to concede one thing: Russell Westbrook is a terrifying opponent.

For all the changes that have happened this season, nothing has changed that basic fear I have of Westbrook. Take last night's game against the L.A. Clippers, for example:

Tonight, we finally get to see these teams play. For those of you interested in such nonsense as whether they're still friends, you get to see how they acknowledge each other publicly. I can only imagine that tonight we'll get the angriest angry Westbrook that has ever been angered.

No matter what, it should be a fun one.

Patrick McCaw injury update

As first noted this past weekend, Warriors rookie Patrick McCaw was expected to miss at least two games due to an ankle injury. Those two games have now passed and McCaw is still listed as doubtful. There's probably no reason for alarm as ankle injuries can just take time, but hopefully we'll get another update on his recovery soon.
