2016 NBA All-Star Game GameThread: Will Stephen Curry be All-Star MVP?

New, comments

Isn't it crazy to be rooting for someone who could be All-Star MVP?

Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports

If you've been following GSOM closely this weekend, you know that Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry is the favorite to win the 2016 NBA All-Star Game MVP award.

That would be fun.

But so would Draymond Green adding his name to history with a triple-double (he would be the fourth, joining Michael Jordan, LeBron James, and Dwyane Wade).

Or 2016 NBA three point champion Klay Thompson catching fire and breaking the record for points in a quarter (the current record is Glen Rice's 20 in 1997, which feels low considering that absolutely no defense is played in these games until you consider that players are usually shuffling in and out of these games and trying to dunk on the non-defense of their opponents).

So what are you rooting for today? One of those things to happen? Or something else?

Let us know in the comments now and join us here for the game.
