The Golden State Warriors return to the Bay Area to play their first game at home since February 9th. The Dubs welcome the visiting Atlanta Hawks, who lost to the Warriors at home last week by a score of 102-92. You can catch up on highlights of their previous meeting below:
The Warriors are a ridiculous 63-2 at home during the regular season in the Steve Kerr era, including 42 straight wins according to San Francisco Chronicle beat writer Rusty Simmons. Golden State is just two wins shy of tying the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls record of 44 consecutive regular season victories at home.
The Dubs are 7-1 SU and 6-2 ATS against the Hawks over the previous eight meetings between the two teams. OddsShark.com reports that odds makers currently list Golden State as 10 point favorites over an Atlanta team that is just 14-15 on the road this season.
The OVER is always a popular pick with the high powered Golden State offense, who is averaging 121.6 points per game over their last five home games. The total has gone OVER in four of the Warriors last six games, however the total has gone UNDER is six of the Hawks last nine road games. The OVER/UNDER line for Tuesday's contest is tentatively set at 220 points according to virtual sportsbook BetOnline.
Stephen Curry (ankle) and Andre Iguodala (left hamstring) are questionable for tonight's game vs. Atlanta.
