The Golden State Warriors and Oklahoma City Thunder meet Thursday night at Oracle Arena for the second time in less than a week. Much like their game against the Dubs last Saturday, OKC suffered a catastrophic fourth quarter meltdown last night in Los Angeles against the Clippers.

Kevin Durant and company (sorry Russ) have gone from Fukushima to Chernobyl in a matter of days. It is not just the losses, but how the Thunder are losing that should worry fans back in Oklahoma. Who can forget what happened the last time these two teams met?

The Warriors have won 43 consecutive regular season games at home and are one win shy of tying the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls NBA record of 44 straight home victories.

The Dubs are the consensus pick among sportsbooks according to, entering Thursday's contest as seven and a half point favorites over the visiting Thunder. Golden State is 4-1 in their last five games when playing at home against Oklahoma City.

Fireworks are likely to occur with two of the association's top scoring teams under the same roof. But then again, when are there not pyrotechnics at Oracle? The total has gone OVER in 8 of the previous 11 meetings between the two Western Conference powers, including four of Golden State's previous five games overall. Tonight's total is tentatively set at 229 points according to BetOnline.
