The March 7 issue of Sports Illustrated is on newsstands now, and if you weren't aware, it's much ado about Warriors.
And if you believe in this sort of thing, the defending champs got their fair share of the SI cover jinx in Los Angeles, too.
The issue features a big Rick Reilly story about a week in the life for Golden State. It reads as a bit of a fluff piece, which is smirk-worthy considering the recent (media-invented?) melodrama surrounding Draymond Green and head coach Steve Kerr. Yet the story paints the picture of the Dubs we know and love, who absolutely enjoy every second of playing together.
In a sports world that revolves around breaking news and LeBron James-related controversy, it's refreshing to get a reminder of the good things in the world, all of which happen to wear Blue and Gold.
You can and should read Rick Reilly's piece here. Then, you too will know that Draymond Green is terrified of cats, Stephen Curry's feet don't stink, and that Rocco doesn't do interviews.
