The Golden State Warriors' hopes for winning a record 73 games this season will hinge upon their ability to overcome a bleak history of losing in San Antonio.
The Warriors have not beaten the Spurs in San Antonio in forever and will need to do so today to tie the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls with a record 72 wins and set up a chance to break the record at home against the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday.
With the playoffs and title defense still the top priority though, the Warriors will be resting reserve guard Leandro Barbosa today.
For tonight's game at San Antonio: Leandro Barbosa (rest) and Kevon Looney (right hip) are out.

As for Looney, Diamond Leung of the Bay Area News Group reported earlier today that doctors are still trying to figure out what's wrong with his surgically repaired hip (h/t CurryUpOffense for the FanShot).
On the bright side, center Andrew Bogut will be available today after take a day of rest yesterday.
May we all witness history today.
