The Golden State Warriors get their second crack at joining the exclusive 70 win club. But to do so, they must go through the equally powerful San Antonio Spurs.
Thursday's matchup will be the first game in NBA history between two teams with 65+ wins. However San Antonio owns the series with 24 wins in the last 28 regular season games against Golden State (GSWStats).
The Dubs forced the Spurs into a season high 26 turnovers in their first meeting on Janurary 25th. However San Antonio limited Golden State to a season low 79 points in the previous meeting on March 19th. With talks swirling of Gregg Popovich resting players for this premiere matchup, It looks as though the Spurs will be playing their core players tonight in Oakland. However San Antonio is just 1-5 ATS in their last six games.
