★★★
The Golden State Warriors get their second crack at joining the exclusive 70 win club. But to do so, they must go through the equally powerful San Antonio Spurs.

Thursday's matchup will be the first game in NBA history between two teams with 65+ wins. However San Antonio owns the series with 24 wins in the last 28 regular season games against Golden State (GSWStats).

The Dubs forced the Spurs into a season high 26 turnovers in their first meeting on Janurary 25th. However San Antonio limited Golden State to a season low 79 points in the previous meeting on March 19th. Since those highlights might put you to sleep, relive the Dubs 30 point victory from the first game of the season series at Oracle:

Betting lines on OddsShark.com currently show Golden State as seven point favorites for Thursday's heavyweight bout. With talks swirling of Gregg Popovich resting players for this premiere matchup, It looks as though the Spurs will be playing their core players tonight in Oakland. However San Antonio is just 1-5 ATS in their last six games.

The OVER/UNDER line is tentatively set at 209 points on BetOnline.com. The total has gone UNDER in four of San Antonio's last five games as well as in seven of Golden State's last ten contests. The total has yet to go OVER in each of the first two games this season between the two teams.

Lets check the pulse of the Twittersphere to get a better idea of tonight's matchup:
