Warriors vs. Thunder Western Conference Finals schedule: Series begins Monday at Golden State

With the Thunder's win over the Spurs tonight, the Warriors will begin the Western Conference Finals on Monday, May 18 at 6 p.m. PST.

As much as we wanted rest for the Golden State Warriors before the 2016 Western Conference Finals, the nice thing about having an opponent now is that we don't have to wait for the anticipation for the next round to build.

With the Oklahoma City Thunder defeating the San Antonio Spurs tonight, the Warriors will get a chance to face Kevin Durant in the conference finals as they try to advance to a second straight NBA Finals series. The series will begin with the Warriors hosting the Thunder at Oracle Arena on Monday, May 18 at 6 p.m. PST.

The full schedule for the conference finals is as follows (all times PST):

Game 1: Monday, May 16 6 p.m.

Game 2: Wednesday, May 18 6 p.m.

Game 3: Sunday, May 22 5 p.m.

Game 4: Tuesday, May 24 6 p.m.

*Game 5: Thursday, May 26 6 p.m.

*Game 6: Saturday, May 28 6 p.m.

*Game 7: Monday, May 30 6 p.m.

What excites you most about this series? What worries you most about OKC? Let us know in the comments and perhaps we'll run your thoughts by a Thunder blogger for comment before the series starts.
