Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban has been as hot topic in political news lately after making statements that he'd consider a run for vice president if asked.
So this morning he was on MSNBC's Sunday politics show Meet the Press and, naturally, host Chuck Todd asked him for his 2016 NBA Finals prediction.
"You know, I'm going to take a little bit of a longshot here and go with the Thunder," Cuban said when asked at the end of his interview.
Todd joked that Cuban's prediction coming to fruition would be bad news for Washington Wizards fans because Thunder star Kevin Durant would be less likely to leave Oklahoma if they won the title. But in reality, it's getting harder to imagine Durant bolting from Oklahoma City given the success they've had already this offseason and the relationship he has with his teammates.
In other news, Warriors All-Star Draymond Green has been known to use just about perceived slight as motivation. The Thunder host the Golden State Warriors today for Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals today with the series tied at one game apiece.
