The Portland Trail Blazers are the lone team in the NBA to defeat the Golden State Warriors more than once this season with their 120-108 victory at the Moda Center last Saturday. While Golden State still holds home court advantage in the best of seven series, it is still unclear when the NBA's most valuable player will make his return.
Diamond Leung of the Bay Area News Group says that the Warriors are officially listing Steph Curry as "doubtful" for game four on Monday. According to Leung, Curry will participate in the morning shootaround and will ultimately be a game time decision. However as of 11:30 AM this morning, Leung says that Curry is now "questionable" for tonight's game per head coach Steve Kerr.
As we turn our attention to the betting lines in game four, Golden State remains the favorite even with the likelihood of Curry not playing. The Warriors are the only team in NBA history to not lose back-to-back games for an entire season. That will be put to the test tonight as the Blazers pick up five points against the spread in game four at home.
The total has gone OVER in six of the seven meetings between Portland and Golden State this season, including both the regular season and playoffs. The two teams are averaging 220.3 total points per game in the first three games of their second round series.
