After a season of anticipation, the Golden State Warriors will face the Cleveland Cavaliers for Game 1 of the 2016 NBA Finals tonight at Oracle Arena.
And given how last season's Finals began -- Games 1 & 2 at Oracle going overtime with the Cavs eventually taking a 2-1 lead in the series -- getting off to a good start would be a really encouraging sign for the Warriors this time around.

Not that the Warriors can't overcome a 2-1 or 3-1 lead... but why make things harder than necessary if they can just cruise to a 2-0 start? It would just be nice to give us a worry-free path to the title.
Anyway, enjoy the game... I'm still not sure I can fully wrap my mind around the idea of the Warriors going to two straight Finals, much less winning.
