The Golden State Warriors can really put a stranglehold on the 2016 NBA Finals by beating the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 3 at Quicken Loans Arena.
If the Warriors can go up 3-0 tonight, it just doesn't seem likely that LeBron James and the Cavs would make it past Game 5. In fact, Brandon Gdula of NumberFire gives the Warriors an 89.79% to win the series in five after thoroughly dominating the Cavaliers in Oakland.
The twist for tonight's game though is that Kevin Love is out due to a concussion suffered in Game 2 and Richard Jefferson will get the start in his place, which will be a nice natural experiment to see whether Love's defensive struggles are the liability that some of us claim they are.
So even if Game 3 isn't all that exciting, I'm certainly excited to see how it unfolds given the narrative around this matchup for the last year.
