And here comes the appeal on the SF arena decision...

As expected, the opposition has filed an appeal on the recent ruling in favor of the arena environmental report. The core thrust of the suit is the same: "the city’s environmental review "inexplicably" used "outdated analyses" to evaluate the project’s impact on "land use, biological resources, geology and hazardous materials impacts." "By relying on environmental review documents from 18 years ago, the city failed to analyze critical environmental issues that will impact city residents and visitors in the years to come if the arena is built," Meserve said." It would be pretty surprising to me if this get's traction, so I expect this will just end up being another minor delay in the ongoing project. Also keep in mind there is a separate lawsuit still pending which we should be hearing about relatively soon.
