The Golden State Warriors, the same franchise that was once unable to lure Elton Brand as a free agent, will be holding a press conference to introduce superstar Kevin Durant as arguably the biggest free agent acquisition in their long history.
Honestly, I don't think the fact of him joining the Warriors will set in until after he takes the court for the Warriors the first time, but even this moment is pretty huge.

Durant will be the first of a number free agent agreements that become official as the NBA's moratorium on signings ended at 9:01 PST last night.
These events don't normally produce that much intrigue aside from a few tidbits here or a nugget that a reporter can transform into a bigger story, but please do follow along and share your thoughts for those of us who are trapped at work and cannot watch in the thread below.
