Draymond Green recently appeared on Conan O’Brien’s show and proved to be more adept at comedy than he thinks comedian Kevin Hart is at basketball.
Conan mentioned that Hart often brags about his basketball skills; he also implies that there is an All Star Game conspiracy and the tapes of their three-point challenge mysteriously disappeared.
When pressed, Green admitted Hart had a couple of good shots that “shocked” him, but ultimately played the entire bit in deadpan hater style.
“The thing that makes Kevin a great comedian is that he believe the stuff he say. Thinking he’s good at basketball? Hah...he believe it.”
He also shared a great story about his mom from when he was younger:
And also talked about his persistent pursuit of Kevin Durant, which is a must watch.
In discussing the Olympics, Conan asked if it will be hard to switch back to playing his Team USA teammates as opponents in the upcoming NBA season, but Green said it will be the opposite. He said they all still talk on a regular basis and that he’s really looking forward to playing them, noting he looks forward to catching up with them and making them pay for dinner after they inevitably lose to the Warriors.
This led to some fun insight into the Warriors’ post-game dinner routine; and of course, because it’s Draymond, some shade for his teammates. We’d expect nothing less.
