After a very long flight, the Golden State Warriors finally arrived in China. They landed in Shenzhen, the spot of Wednesday’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, late in the evening, local time.
Not surprisingly, the Dubs were met by some adoring fans. The Warriors are the most popular NBA team in China, and it quickly showed in the fan reception. Check out these great videos of Golden State’s arrival:

If you can’t see the video, Connor Letourneau of the San Francisco Chronicle had a great description of the fanfare that greeted the Warriors’ players.
Even though it’s a long trip for the team, the players seem to be very excited, as evidenced by this fun but silly video:

It will be fun following the action and the response that the Warriors get, as they’ll be in China for a full week. After Wednesday’s game, they’ll head to Shanghai for a rematch with the Wolves on Sunday, October 8, then it’s back home to the Bay Area.
