It’s safe to say the season is not off to the start that many were hoping for. After dropping Saturday night’s back end of a back-to-back, the Warriors are now 1-2.
Golden State hasn’t had a losing record this late in the season in five years! So there’s a little perspective, I guess...
Blog buddy recap: Grizzly Bear Blues
Post-game interviews
Notable notes
Prior to the game, Tim Kawakami penned a piece on Stephen Curry’s foul problems that persist despite the superstar’s defensive abilities. The article feels especially pertinent after the game, in which Curry did a great job on Mike Conley, but was plagued by foul trouble all night.
Anthony Slater had great coverage of the surprising end of the game, which featured ejections from both Curry and Kevin Durant. There are great quotes from both players, as well as Steve Kerr, and also some interesting details and history.
It may feel like there’s only bad news now, but Omri Casspi is scheduled to return Monday, so that’s something to look forward to.
Kristian Winfield had some fun perspective on the game, as well as highlights from around the league to make you feel better.
Don’t worry, Dubs’ fans . . . it’s the Mavericks on Monday, and they have not looked good. And if you need your daily dose of Steve Kerr hilarity, well, here you go:
