Have I mentioned I have an irrationally good feeling about Jordan Bell? I really was going to write about something else today, like Patrick McCaw, but Bell just forced his way back, just like I hope he forces his way into Kerr’s rotation for real minutes this year. And why break the streak? Four straight articles about Mr. Bell and counting!

In his highlights today from the Warriors vs Timberwolves game in China, we saw the usual high flying athleticism and the quick stealing hands. But more impressively, we saw some basic dribble drives and layups through contact. In fact, here are some highlights.

Today I’m going to take a closer look at his putback dunk. The big dunking we already knew about. But I like his calm decision making with the shot clock running down, and his working through multiple reads. If he can keep making solid decisions, then that will get him playing time, and that will keep my Bell writing streak alive into the regular season.

Enjoy.
