If you were watching the Golden State Warriors broadcast of Wednesday night’s overtime victory against the Los Angeles Lakers, you may have noticed a funny moment. Sideline reporter Kerith Burke was standing on the baseline, finishing up a story, when Golden State forward Jordan Bell backed into her.
Bell, who didn’t appear to know it was Burke he bumped into, seemed confused as to why there was someone standing near the court. Burke thought Bell was a referee, and tried to balance finishing her segment with the incident. She did a pretty great job, I might add!
All in all, it was a pretty funny moment to witness, and worth watching if you haven’t already seen it:

After the game, Burke had some funny comments about the exchange:
Woke up to a bunch of texts about this https://t.co/7uWAnpQT3z

The camera cut away before JB smiled big. I thought it was a ref bumping me.

There’s no way to practice for moments like that, but Burke handled it perfectly. Come to think of it, she’s handled just about everything perfectly thus far.
