Usually when players want to wear the product of one of their favorite athletes, the options are limited. You can buy a jersey, or maybe a pair of sneakers from the athlete’s brand. There are usually some shirt options, and that’s about it.
Well, Golden State Warriors All-Star forward Kevin Durant is changing that. Durant has teamed up with Nike to release something that is pretty out of the ordinary for an NBA player: eyewear.

Interestingly, Durant is eschewing sunglasses, and currently only offering glasses for vision. Still, if that’s what you need, then you can’t go wrong with these: they’re pretty slick looking.
Before you mention the relatively high price . . . well, they’re still a lot cheaper than many eyeglasses. If you’re going for fashion, you unfortunately have to pay a pretty penny.
Durant’s line offers three different models, with a few color choices. If you want to wear a KD product over your eyes, you can check them out at Nike’s eyewear website.
I didn’t see this coming! But pretty cool nonetheless.
If anyone buys a pair, be sure to let us know how they are!
