Draymond Green and LeBron James have quite the history. From on-court heroics, to disputes and suspensions, to off-court friendships, these two characters have had their stories woven together quite a lot through the years.
Of course, the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers have met in the NBA Finals three years in a row, which plays a role in that. And while many people think that James and Green are bitter rivals, they’re actually friends, and have enjoyed going at each other on and off the court.
Today, Green’s good-natured ribbing of James spilled into his social media account. On Monday, the Cavs’ superstar and four-time MVP posted an angry fist from the show Arthur on his Instagram page, with the caption “mood”.
With Cleveland stuck in a losing streak and playing horribly, one would assume this has something to do with basketball.
It didn’t take long for Green to respond, letting James know how the mood was in the Bay Area:
The troll job is a little silly, but it made us laugh. The Warriors are in a much different spot than the Cavs are, as Golden State is 8-3, and starting to find their rhythm. It was the perfect time to mock the struggling rivals.
It’s worth noting that James “liked” Green’s Instagram post. It’s all in good fun.
