Despite missing three starters, Golden State beat Portland 111-104

NBA: Portland Trail Blazers at Golden State Warriors Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

Can we talk about this play? I feel like we should talk about this play.

Okay, now that we’ve talked about this play, we should probably talk about this play. No, we should definitely talk about this play.

Oh, and while we’re on the subject, I feel very strongly that we should talk about this.

Now, on to the specifics. The Golden State Warriors were without Steph Curry, Draymond Green, and Zaza Pachulia, but they still beat the Portland Trail Blazers, 111-104.

Kevin Durant was brilliant, and scored 28 points to go along with 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Klay Thompson splashed in 24 points, and the Dubs got key contributions from Jordan Bell, Omri Casspi, Nick Young, and David West.

It wasn’t all pretty. After taking an 18-point lead into the fourth quarter, the Dubs let Portland make the game close.

Unfortunately, Young left the game with a concussion, adding to the list of Golden State ailments. Hopefully he’s okay. We’ll keep you updated as soon as we have more info.

The winning streak is now seven games, and the Warriors are looking like the best team in the league, even without two of their stars.

Now, stop getting injured!
