All the Warriors want for Christmas is . . .

New, comments

Our writers make a holiday wish list for the Dubs.

NBA: Golden State Warriors-Media Day Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

It’s that time of year, when wish lists are made, Santa determines who has been naughty and who has been nice, and presents are delivered.

But why should kids have all the fun? No, we think the Golden State Warriors should get a wish list too, and that Santa should come through. Preferably by noon on Christmas, when the Dubs take on the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Warriors are pretty busy right now, and might not have the time to make their own wish list. So we went ahead and made one for them.

All the Warriors want for Christmas is . . .

Daniel Hardee: More of Cleveland’s soul.

Greg Thomas: We want Basketball Jesus back, so he can run the floor with his three court disciples. Also would like new and improved ankles for Basketball Jesus. A new robotic arm and shoulder for Draymond Green. We also want....Anthony Davis!

Sami Higgins: Kevin Durant just wants shoes that will stay on his feet.

Thomas Bevilacqua: Bob Myers asked for cash this year, around $3.5 million or so, that he can magically turn into a good young rotation player

Patrick Murray: Steph Curry to return and start shooting his career percentage from three. Can’t have James Harden leading the league in three pointers made, it’s unnatural.

Nate P: A time machine to go back to Game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals and get Anderson Varejao stuck in traffic on his way to the game so Steve Kerr would be forced to make...different choices.

Brady Klopfer: Health. Not just for the Warriors, but for other teams, so we don’t have to go through another offseason of people discrediting a title because Mike Conley and Patrick Beverley and Kawhi Leonard were injured.

Happy Holidays, whatever you celebrate, and a Happy New Year!
