No new jerseys for Christmas
For the first season since 2011, teams won’t be wearing special jerseys for Christmas Day games. In their inaugural year producing NBA jerseys, Nike had an opportunity to make a statement. The company has had an inauspicious start to the season as player jerseys are ripping frequently. Opinions vary on past Adidas’ Christmas jersey designs, but providing special threads for Xmas games cements Christmas as the NBA’s day. Here’s to hoping Nike treats the biggest day in the NBA regular season with creativity next year.
New shoes though
Folks are freaking out about Draymond Green’s LeBron James-trolling with his Arthur Christmas shoes. James recently posted memes of Arthur after a tough loss and his teammates spread the post. Whether or not Green is trolling James is not the story. Arthur is the best cartoon character ever and he is featured on a Nike sneaker. Points to Green.

Another Curry 4
Steph Curry released the latest model of the Curry 4 on Christmas Eve. This model, entitled “More Range” is inspired by Curry’s reputation as the best three-point shooter in the NBA. The shoes are the least colorful of the bunch, and time will tell how Curry’s latest model performs on the shelves.
