Jordan Bell cracks his own top-five list

New, comment

He may be his harshest critic, but Jordan Bell is also one of his own favorite players.

Jordan Bell can be a little critical of himself. After the Golden State Warriors’ Christmas day victory against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Bell graded his performance as being only a C+.

That’s a good sign. Young players who are their own harshest critics are usually driven to work harder and get better.

But Bell is also, understandably, pretty excited and proud of himself for making it to the NBA. As reported by Melissa Rohlin of The Mercury News, Bell listed himself as one of his five favorite NBA players ever.

Bell put himself in pretty good company, as the other players to make his list were Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Dennis Rodman, and Shaquille O’Neal. That’s a pretty fun list.

The article also featured a great quote from Bell regarding Stephen Curry: “Very unselfish, like you wouldn’t know he was a superstar if you never saw him play basketball before. He doesn’t have the vibe that he’s a two-time MVP or a two-time champion. He’s just another guy on the team. He’s a little more laid back, goofy, jokes around with everybody, treats everybody the same.”

It seems that with every game, Bell proves himself more, and he gets a little more press. Right now, that’s resulting in fans getting a glimpse of his fun personality.
