There are times when we can all admit that Draymond Green should reel it in because he’s such an integral part of what the Golden State Warriors do.
But the two technical fouls he got during the first half of the Warriors’ home game against the Memphis Grizzlies tonight at Oracle Arena in Oakland, CA — you know, where people normally expect reasonable officiating — were absurd, to put it mildly.
Green was ejected with 9:45 left in the second quarter after receiving a technical foul for...dismissively waving at a referee after a foul call...?

But the first was just as ridiculous — perhaps he whispered something vile toward the ref?

Yes, I get as frustrated as anyone at Green’s technical fouls...and, yes, it’s possible that something happened that just isn’t immediately visible from these camera angles. But from what we can tell, these stretch the limit of reason, especially the second one that led to the ejection.
Hopefully, at least one of those gets rescinded upon league review.
