After a tightly contested first half, the Golden State Warriors blew open the game in the second half, running to a 123-95 blowout win over the Miami Heat.
It was another solid team effort and a number of Warriors players contributed. The starting line-up posted insane plus/minus numbers in this game. Kevin Durant, at +18, was the lowest out of the starters, with Stephen Curry and Zaza Pachulia at +20, Draymond Green at +32 and Klay Thompson at +33.
But it’s Curry who takes the cake, leading the team with 30 points in 30 minutes.
Ever since last week’s overtime game against the Los Angeles Lakers, Curry has clearly adjusted to the wrap on his sore finger. He went 11-for-16 to from the floor against the Heat, going 5-for-9 from three.
Despite the Heat’s physical play, Curry broke loose time and time again, scoring all over the floor — including a self-described “power post” circus shot under the rim with Goran Dragic draped over his back.

After the game, Curry described the shot as being a “never seen it” play.

It seems that even after two MVP seasons and as many Championships, Curry continues to bring out parts of his game that we’ve never seen. Here’s hoping this season holds a lot more “never seen it” plays from this Warriors squad.
