Many people joke that Anthony Davis will someday become a member of the Golden State Warriors. Perhaps we’ll see him in the blue and gold, playing under the $BILLION lights of the Chase Center, but for now the young prodigy is living it up in New Orleans.
The 23 year old superstar led the West All-Stars to a 192-182 victory, while also setting a new record for points scored in an All-Star game (surpassing Wilt Chamberlain) by scoring 52 points to go along with 10 rebounds.
Th final score seemed ... obtuse. And not like, insensitive. I mean, like fat and overweight, like an angle.

In a game marked by little to no defense and a wonderful Durant/Westbrook alley-oop, Davis and his historic performance truly stood out from the crowd.

In Warriors news, Kevin Durant joined an exclusive club by recording a triple-double.
Kevin Durant joins Michael Jordan (1997), LeBron James (2011) & Dwyane Wade (2012) as only players in All-Star history with a triple-double.

Stephen Curry had a fantastic night, but will only be remembered for fleeing a Giannis posterization, only to find himself in the crosshairs of death-from-above from the same man. It was a tough night for tiny, head-banded wonder.
However, the major news out of New Orleans (or out of whatever crazed bunker Adrian Wojnarowski hides within) was the fact that the #KANGZ are considering — nay, actively planning on — trading DeMarcus Cousins.
Let me take this moment to, just ...... AHAHAHAHAHAHA KANGZ!!!!!!!!
Sacramento's been fully engaged in trade talks centered on DeMarcus Cousins with multiple teams on Sunday, league sources tell @TheVertical.

Sources: Sacramento has told at least one team it's been eliminated from consideration on a Cousins deal because Kings have better offer.

Other teams with interest in a Cousins deal are no longer getting calls returned from Kings management tonight, sources tell @TheVertical.

So, in short:
1.) Congrats Anthony Davis on your All-Star MVP award, your record setting night, and your shining future as a member of the Golden State Warriors.
2.) Kings, just go hide in the corner and stop.
3.) Curry, WATCH OUT FOR GIANNIS!!!!!

What a strange, glorious, boring night from NBA-land.
