The NBA trade deadline is coming up at noon PST today and there has already been a trade involving a player Golden State Warriors fans are very familiar with.
After months of speculation that they’d be trading a young center, the Philadelphia 76ers have agreed to send Nerlens Noel to the Dallas Mavericks in return for Justin Anderson, former Warriors center Andrew Bogut and a draft pick. For a Mavs team that’s looking toward the future, the trade makes a ton of sense; for a 76ers squad that is also looking toward the future, this move doesn’t exactly seem like a positive move for Bogut individually...which is why it probably makes sense that David Aldridge is reporting that Bogut could end up somewhere else.
Philly likely re-routing Andrew Bogut, just acquired from Dallas w/Justin Anderson & pick for Nerlens Noel. Boston possibility, per source.

However, as Adrian Wojnarowski tweeted, that “somewhere else” could be determined after Bogut is bought out and becomes a free agent.
Sources: Barring unlikely landing spot by 3 PM ET, Andrew Bogut, 76ers beginning to engage on buyout talks. Bogut wants to be free agent.
