It wasn’t pretty.
In fact, the first half of the Western Conference Finals’ opening game was an ugly reminder of the first game of the season. You know — when San Antonio clobbered Golden State with its spurs, leaving a trail of Warrior juice on the court.
But a halftime pep talk from Warriors Coach Steve Kerr seemed to get Golden State into a crisper offensive rhythm that resulted in an unlikely come-from-behind victory for a 1-0 start to the series.
