2017 NBA Playoffs: Tamryn talks Game 1 with the ‘Sports Kings After Dark’ crew

I had the pleasure of breaking down Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals on Sunday night with “Mean Gene” and friends, on SB Nation Radio 1560 AM Houston. Listen, and get ready for tonight’s Game 2!

It wasn’t pretty.

In fact, the first half of the Western Conference Finals’ opening game was an ugly reminder of the first game of the season. You know — when San Antonio clobbered Golden State with its spurs, leaving a trail of Warrior juice on the court.

But a halftime pep talk from Warriors Coach Steve Kerr seemed to get Golden State into a crisper offensive rhythm that resulted in an unlikely come-from-behind victory for a 1-0 start to the series.

After the game, I joined the “Sports Kings After Dark” crew to break down Game 1 and discuss Kerr’s health, Klay Thompson’s shooting slump, Kawhi Leonard’s injury and more!

Check it out here:

And let’s see how Leonard’s absence, and apparently the whole world’s pure hatred for Zaza Pachulia, will impact Game 2.
