Despite a vitriolic Gregg Popovich, San Antonio was defeated before the squad even stepped onto the floor. One look at LaMarcus Aldridge’s face as he sat sullen on the bench at the start of the second half told the whole story.
Thus, the Warriors went in for the kill in Game 2, getting everybody involved and demoralizing San Antonio in a blowout victory.
The now-notorious Zaza Pachulia did not come out of the locker room after halftime, leading to much speculation.

If the events since the Game 1 injury to Kawhi Leonard are any indication, fanatics will run with this and speculate about karma and, perhaps, theorize about conspiracies. So, although it’s great to celebrate this dominant win, Golden State goes to San Antonio for Game 3 and should be prepared for anything.
