Kevin Durant releases 35 minute movie documenting his rise to NBA Finals MVP

NBA: Golden State Warriors-Championship Celebration Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

Kevin Durant is now an NBA champion and a Finals MVP. No one, no matter how big or loud their opinions, can take that away from him. Throughout all of the ups and downs, he has remained steadfast in his pursuit of a championship, and in his pursuit of personal excellence.

Today, he released a thirty minute movie on youtube documenting his rise to greatness, and documenting specifically the 2016-17 Warriors’ postseason run, his first with the team. It’s well worth the time for any serious Warriors fan.

Given what he experienced this past year after his controversial decision, the short film is aptly titled, “Still KD: Through the Noise.”

Durant is one of the most humble real dudes in the league. We are blessed that he chooses to open up like this, chooses to let us share in his journey. Watching this has got me all up in the feels.
