We’ll start with Quiz 3, then share the answers to Quiz 2.

Quiz 3 Question

This is a subtle one, but my favorite one of all. It’s so subtle that if you don’t know that it’s happening, you may have never noticed it. So I’ll show a few clips.

Here’s Harrison Barnes raising his finger.

And Kevin Durant doing a similar thing.

And here’s Kevin Durant again doing it, with a bonus of Ian Clark on the bench doing the same thing.

Question (2 pts). What are they doing? Be as specific as you can.

Extra Credit (3 pts). Who invented this celebration?

Quiz 2 Question

Question 2 (1 pt). What is the precise type of play being celebrated by this signal?

Quiz 2 Answer

Here’s the full play.

Yes, I’ve only seen Stephen Curry do this celebration; perhaps because few players get four-point plays enough to develop one.

Here’s another example of the count:

This came from Explain One Play: Curry makes 4 point play, enrages Kerr, which has one of my favorite video clips focusing on the coaches freaking out about a wild Curry turnover.

Extra Credit (5 pts, 3pts with full clip). Identify the exact season from Curry’s look and any other clues from the clip.

Okay, I know that was a very hard extra credit problem, and only Daniel Hardee figured it out. But NOW with the full Quiz 2 clip, you have enough information to figure out the season and the game. So, I’m giving you a couple more days to solve it. You only get credit if you post the answer in the comments.
