For those of you who are new to it, Golden State of Mind (GSOM) Night is our special promotion that the Golden State Warriors are kind enough to run with us. It started naturally enough — we are all here, typing away about the Warriors — why not just all go out and try and see a game together?

Each year is unique, and I don’t mean to be trite - they really are special. Last year, we re-instituted my personal favorite post-game tradition: the free throw event. And we are here to officially confirm that the free throws are back!

In addition, we’ve managed to negotiate a substantial price reduction, which makes this one of the most affordable Warriors games I’ve had the chance to go to in years. And by “managed to negotiate” I mean the Warriors listened to Nate and I whine about cost and then saw it in their hearts to offer all of us a pretty sweet deal.

Beyond the amazing ticket price, the free shirt, and the free throws, they are also throwing in a 10 dollar concession voucher with each ticket that is good for any food or drink they sell. It’s like one half-off beer!

When: Thursday, January 25th vs. Minnesota

Time: 7:30 P.M. Tip-off (On TNT)

Price: $100 (Upper Level Sideline Seats- 213-216)

What is included?

  • Ticket (duh)
  • GSOM Exclusive T-Shirt
  • $10 Concession Voucher (can be used towards food or drink in the arena) and;
  • Post Game Free Throw Opportunity

Now that everything is confirmed, I am waiting for a link to be created where people can start purchasing.

I know people may not come around until we are closer to the season but I wanted to get the details out there so you can use them to recruit your squad.

So please, spread the word and rally your peoples!
