When the Golden State Warriors take on the Milwaukee Bucks tonight, they’ll have a few familiar faces back on the sidelines. Point guard Quinn Cook and center Damian Jones have been recalled from the Santa Cruz Warriors of the G-League.

While Stephen Curry wanted to play tonight, the team decided he should sit out one more game.

That made Cook an easy choice, and the team brought Jones along with him. With Curry out, Cook will be active against the Bucks, though Jones will not be.

While neither player has had much of an opportunity with Golden State, they’re both tearing up the G-League. Cook in particular has been unstoppable, averaging 23.7 points, 7.4 assists, and 5.5 rebounds per game, while shooting 44.2% from three-point range.
Jones, for his part, is averaging 15.9 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 2.2 blocks per game, while shooting 69.0% from the field. He has looked excellent.
It’s always fun to watch the young players get on the floor, so hopefully we see a fair share of Cook tonight.
