On Monday, the Golden State Warriors beat their rivals, the Cleveland Cavaliers, by a score of 118-108. But while the score was impressive, it wasn’t all fun and games for the defending champs.
Once the Warriors marched victoriously to the visiting locker room at Quicken Loans Arena, they were met with an unpleasant surprise. There was no hot water in the showers.
No hot water in the Cleveland visiting locker room. You can hear the players shrieking as they enter the cold showers.

While the cold water was surely a shock to the Dubs, the team was in good enough spirits following the victory that it didn’t much matter. ESPN reported that the team was not angry, and found the situation funny, which is more than I can say when I don’t have hot water.
ESPN also noted that Kevin Durant playfully pointed out that LeBron James needed to fix the situation, shouting from the showers that “Man, they got to do something in ‘The Q.’ Somebody call Bron!”
It was below-freezing in Cleveland, so presumably the players were very, very cold. Thankfully the team hotel was near the arena, so presumably everyone was able to find a hot shower without having to wait too long.
