The champion Golden State Warriors outlasted the gritty Dallas Mavericks in the heart of Texas, 125-122 in a good ole-fashioned barn-burner. This game came down to the final minute, with the Mavericks chewing away at a double-digit deficit to make things terrifying for the champs down the stretch.
Fortunately, Stephen Curry is hella clutch. He calmly buried a game winning three-pointer over Dirk Nowitzki’s outstretched hands in “the house that Dirk built”. BANG!

Dubs’ Big 4 Dominate
The sheer offensive power of Curry, Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green was barely enough: they combined for 100 of the Warriors total points!

Isn’t watching these two dominate in saucy fashion SUCH a refreshing delight? Think about it: after a hard day of work, there’s nothing like coming home to a Warriors road game in an early time-slot. As you watch the Warriors weaponizing joy, the cloudy malaise of the day’s responsibilities dissipate from your consciousness like the grey Bay Area fog vanishing on a spring morning.
HALFTIME:

Dubs up 67-61
Curry: 20 pts, 4-for-7 from three
Durant: 16 pts, 5 reb
DSJ + HB = The Mavericks future
The Mavericks wouldn’t fade away so easily though. Dennis Smith Jr. and Harrison Barnes kept nailing gutsy plays to keep the Dubs from turning the game into a blowout.

Barnes made two CLUTCH plays late against his former teammates, including this game-tying jumper with under a minute to go.

#CommentTopic DID WE MAKE A MISTAKE CHOOSING KD OVER HB?
Thankfully, Barnes newfound heroism was shortly proven to be in vain, thanks to Curry’s dagger.
Everything’s bigger in Texas
Which is why the champs will be looking to put a big ole boot in the ailing Houston Rocket’s hindquarters tomorrow. After a tough game against a feisty Mavericks team the night before, the Warriors will have to find the energy to rundown Mike D’antoni’s uptempo bunch.
P.S. I think we can safely say Curry’s healthy, LOL.
