Stephen Curry gave Golden State Warriors fans a serious scare in the first quarter against the Denver Nuggets. Out on a fastbreak, Curry went up for a layup, and was met by Malik Beasley.
Beasley didn’t do anything dirty, but he did land on Curry in an awkward manner. Curry showed some discomfort in his knee, and quickly went back to the locker room.

Thankfully, it was reported that Curry only suffered a mild knee sprain, and would be expected to return to the game.

Curry was back on the bench a few minutes of game time later, and ready to check into the game at his usual second quarter mark.
Anytime a player goes down, it gives fans a scare. But that’s doubly true for Curry, the face of the franchise who has missed a chunk of games throughout his career with injuries.
Thankfully, this one appears very mild.
