With opening day exactly two weeks away, the Golden State Warriors are mostly at full strength. However, they were down a man at Tuesday’s practice, as Draymond Green sat out due to a sore knee.

Draymond Green is out with a sore knee, according to Steve Kerr. Kerr said “We’ll see” when asked if it will be lingering.

It would seem likely that the injury is minor, though we’ll have to wait and see how it is doing in the next few days before we know for sure.
And while knee injuries are never a good thing, it’s still better for Green to be dealing with a sore knee than an issue with his shoulder or back, as those body parts have plagued him in recent seasons.
Green’s injury is not the first one the team has sustained this training camp. Last week, Andre Iguodala missed practice due to sore ribs. Thankfully he recovered quickly, and looked mighty good in the team’s preseason opener against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Here’s hoping Green is back practicing tomorrow, and ready to play on Friday against the Sacramento Kings.
