It’s still going to be a while before we get the unending joy of watching DeMarcus Cousins suit up for the Golden State Warriors. But we’re certainly getting closer.
The four-time All-Star center, who signed with the Warriors in free agency, hasn’t played in an NBA game since tearing his Achilles in a non-contact injury back in January. He’s been working his way back towards the court, and the team just announced that he will soon be able to partake in team activities (though this does not include scrimmages).

These words are encouraging and exciting, but let’s be honest: We’re all visual people. What’s really exciting is the footage of Cousins playing, and looking healthy, and thankfully, there’s a lot of that.

Now that is very, very nice to see. All it takes is a little footage of Boogie looking like he’s nearing a return, and my brain starts wandering to what this team will look like when he’s on the court alongside the quartet of Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Kevin Durant, and Draymond Green.
Luckily, we’re not the only ones who seem excited or optimistic about Cousins; Durant does, too!
