Video: Behind the scenes for the making of the Warriors championship rings

If you liked the rings before, you’re really going to like them now.

The Golden State Warriors ceremony commemorating their 2018 NBA title was nothing short of outstanding, and the initial reaction to the championship rings was that they were pretty magnificent, and extremely intense.

Now that we know a little bit more about the rings, those sentiments are confirmed. The Warriors just released a video that lays out every little detail of the rings, shows how they were made, and discusses the thought process behind the rings, which were made by Jason of Beverly Hills (as were the 2015 and 2017 championship rings).

In the video, you get to hear from the jeweler, as well as from Andre Iguodala and Kirk Lacob.

It’s a cool video, and one that shows just how meaningful the rings are. There are the bristles, representing a sweep. There’s the reversible top, which allows the player to choose their preferred color, while representing back-to-back titles. There’s the highlighting of the “Strength in Numbers” mantra that the team has embraced, as well as a shoutout to Oakland with “The Town”, and the city’s famous oak tree.

Simply put, these rings have just about everything.

Can I get one?
