Notes During the Game

  • Klay Thompson popping off in desperate attempt to save his beard. Three threes early...
  • Hate to say it but since the 3 threes, Thompson has not been good.
  • Haha Thompson hit a fourth three like 4 milliseconds after I hit send
  • Hahaha Steph Curry bailed out of a layup like Rondo to try to find Thompson. Team LOVES to feed Thompson when he’s on.
  • ALFONS-OREB MCKTHREENNIE
  • You know Curry is gonna force feed Thompson until he beats Curry’s 3s record or dies trying.
  • KERR, RUN ELEVATOR DOORS FOR THOMPSON, YOU COWARD
  • No one has addressed the real tragedy of the Bulls fiasco, which is Thompson will certainly continue wearing the mountain beard, and there’s an outside chance he’s gonna rock the JaVale McGee headband henceforth
  • Curry took ZERO shots in the second half. Durant took ONE.
  • Real leadership. Curry actually was en fuego in the first half too, pouring in 23 points on 9 shots, but he gave it all up for Splash Family Values. He only took 4 threes to stop his record streak of 5+ threes games. Durant also happily went along with it, taking only 10 shots.
  • I really want to do a breakdown of McKinnie, but these damned stars keep setting their freaking records. Love McKinnie’s rebounding.
  • By the way, respect to the Bulls for not trying anything cheesy like double team trapping Thompson in the second half.

Thompson games ranked:

  • #1. OKC Game 6. 11 3s in Playoff Game. Most important one.
  • #2. HOU Game 6. 9-14 from 3 in elimination.
  • #3. 37 in 1Q with no misses. Unbreakable record.
  • #4. 60 in 29.
  • #5. 14 3s. Probably broken this season w league chucking.
