If you like the Golden State Warriors then you’re undoubtedly familiar with Draymond Green. And if you’re a sneakerhead, then you’re likely familiar with the web series Sneaker Shopping, which is produced by Complex.
In Sneaker Shopping, celebrities hang out at shoe stores with sneaker connoisseur Joe La Puma, and discuss all things shoes - their favorite pairs, ones they work for iconic moments, ones they’re not a big fan of, etc., Then, as the title suggests, they shop for some shoes to put on their own feet.
The most recent guest on the show was none other than Green, and, not surprisingly, it made for some highly entertaining and fascinating television.
Particularly interesting is Green talking about the time he spent in college wearing the best shoes he could get his hands on, and how it was always important for him to have fresh kicks, even as an amateur player.
Not surprisingly, ultimately landing a deal with Nike - the holy grail of basketball sneakers - was a dream come true.
