The Golden State Warriors will face the San Antonio Spurs tonight without the help of Stephen Curry and Draymond Green, who are both nursing injuries that aren’t necessarily serious but not worth playing through for a regular season game in November.

Warriors coach Steve Kerr announced during his pre-game media availability that the team will go with the same starters they went with in their loss against the Dallas Mavericks last night, starting Andre Iguodala at point guard and Jonas Jerebko for power forward.

Perhaps the most interesting move in that deviation from the normal lineup is that Kevon Looney is starting at center instead of Damian Jones. Kerr told media today that the center position is fluid, which could mean that we see another change down the line as the team tries to right itself during a rough patch.

Alfonzo McKinnie will also be out once again, but tells media that he is aiming to return to action for Wednesday’s game.

Feel free to share your thoughts and observations in the comments below as the game goes on.
