Video Analysis
Down the stretch of the Orlando Magic vs Golden State Warriors game, Coach Steve Kerr pulled out his three favorite Kevin Durant plays to help KD, Klay Thompson and the Golden State Warriors end the Magic and complete a comeback from 18 points down. Co-starring Andre Iguodala yelling at Kevon Looney and Stephen Curry imitating a car crash.
For the record, the three plays are
- Double Punch or Head Tap, which I’ve written about extensively
- High pick and roll, which Kerr doesn’t feature as much as anyone would like
- High slip by a shooter

Other Thoughts
I previously wrote in the middle of the losing streak that:
My uninformed guess is that Kerr may introduce one or two wrinkles putting KD in high PNR (maybe with some Spain screen-the-screener), but KD is who he is now and the HOU D is a bad matchup for him.
In the last couple of games, there does seem to be more high pick and roll for Durant. And down the stretch of the Orlando Magic game, there was some screen-the-screener action, but it was Flex and not Spain.
