The Golden State Warriors are basking in a sweet dismantling of the Minnesota Timberwolves last night, 116-99.
Kevin Durant imposed his will on the Wolves to the tune of 33 points and 13 rebounds and three triples.

But Draymond Green was a destructive force on the defensive end, the leading reason the Warriors outscored Minnesota 33-12 in the final quarter. Warriors head coach Steve Kerr thoughtfully broke down Green’s epic performance last night, and this season.

Of course, Green’s contributions weren’t just on the defensive end, as he almost had a triple double with 9 points, 9 rebounds, and 11 assists, with a +24 in plus/minus.
Honorable Mention:
Steph Curry with 28 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists.
Klay Thompson with 22 points on 9-of-17 shooting from the field, 4-of-9 from beyond the arc.

The “Golden Sidekick” Nominee
Alfonzo McKinnie continues to deliver when the champs need him. He tallied 8 points, 8 rebounds, and made both of his attempts from downtown.
In the aftermath of the Patrick McNaw fiasco, McKinnie is the bright spot that tides the bench over until DeMarcus Cousins returns and the lineup rejiggers.

If you’re considered a fringe guy, camp invite, or minimum type player, go to the Warriors. Look at Justin Holiday, Ian Clark, JaVale, Quinn Cook, and now Alfonzo Mckinnie. The Warriors do such a good job of utilizing talent and putting players in a position to succeed. https://t.co/fp2ldd9XF6
