Ah yes, there’s nothing like “Weaponized Joy”.
It is the fuel of the Golden State Warriors dynasty, the cherry atop an ice cream sundae, the mathematical formula for the Golden Ratio, the inevitable twist in an M. Night Shyamalan movie.
The champs are fresh off of winning 3 outta 4 of a tough stretch against Cleveland, Milwaukee, Minnesota, and Toronto.
Let’s see which moments brought Dub Nation the most joy!
Forgot About Dre/ Iguodala strips Giannis and goes 94 feet for the big jam
Andre Iguodala showed a flash of his Finals MVP form in an important road test against the Bucks.
Steal and a slam!

Why this should be #1: Dub Nation doesn’t even pay attention to Iguodala until May/June. The Olympian is aging gracefully, but still aging all the same. Most nights he serves as coach on the court, directing teammates and getting them into the right places.
Clearly, the beatdown the Bucks handed the Warriors in Oracle earlier this season motivated Iguodala unleash a modicum of his true power. This sequence of defensive brilliance and high-flying showmanship represents the best of what Iguodala has always brought to Golden State.
Around the World/ Dubs showcase brilliant passing for Klay’s buzzer beater
An alley-oop to Draymond Green turns into a huge splash from Klay Thompson to end the half against Minnesota.

You gotta vote this #1 because: This level of unselfishness, showmanship, and marksmanship used to be the sole domain of the traveling basketball circus known as the Harlem Globetrotters. Now, it’s just another night in Oracle as the Warriors have perfected joy weaponization.
Was the shot a dagger? Yup.
Did the Warriors bench leap out of their seats to celebrate? Yup.
Opposing team shocked and deflated? Yup.
Fans in delirium? Yup.
I’d be shocked if this one doesn’t win for this week.
Memories/ Draymond reflects on champagne soaked locker rooms in Cleveland
Draymond Green knows why the Cleveland Cavaliers renovated their visitors locker room.

I urge you to vote this #1 because: I didn’t know the champs could bury the Cavaliers franchise any deeper, but this bit from Dray’s social media accomplished it.
The Warriors have utterly destroyed Cleveland and won the petty wars. Steph Curry’s “I hope the locker room still smells like champagne” quote pissed Cavs fans off after the Dubs 2015 title. Dray finished the job with this hilariously snarky moment.

Come Fly With Me/ KD posterizes Serge Ibaka
Kevin Durant baptizes former teammate Serge Ibaka with a frustration dunk in the Warriors’ loss to Toronto.
THX KEVIN

This has to be #1 because: This was the only moment worth watching in that beatdown Toronto gave us.
Also, there’s nothing like Durant humiliating former OKC teammates to get any Warriors fan’s blood pumping.
