The Golden State Warriors will face the Memphis Grizzlies tonight looking to earn their sixth win in seven games.
In the process, Stephen Curry is expected to get his 15,000th point — Curry is currently sitting on 14,990 points. He is aiming to become the 138th player overall and 61st guard in NBA history to join the 15,000 point club, according to Basketball-Reference.
Curry spoke to media about approaching the milestone, which he wasn’t aware of, earlier today.

As Steve Kerr told media just this evening, it should come as no surprise that Curry was not aware of the milestone (because is 15,000 really that much more than 14,990 anyway?) and added that it’s yet another piece of evidence demonstrating Curry’s greatness.

Klay Thompson is also approaching a milestone of his own tonight as he sits just eight points away from 11,000 points, as listed on this handy table of base-10 milestones at Basketball-Reference.
