On Sunday night, the Philadelphia Eagles came up big with a dominant Super Bowl LII win, dethroning the New England Patriots 41-33.
Stephen Curry, superstar point guard for the Golden State Warriors, couldn’t be happier.
What an unforgettable day. Took the L and can’t wait for @StephenCurry30 to fall asleep on this plane so he stops singing “fly eagles fly” ♂️ pic.twitter.com/8Yvaovy1Hq

A photo posted by Bryant Barr, one of Curry’s longtime friends, hints that the group enjoyed a boys’ weekend rather than a family getaway. (Curry’s wife, Ayesha, announced last week that she is pregnant with the couple’s third child and currently experiencing morning sickness.)
Curry would never be mistaken for someone lacking in joy. But if we learned anything from his weekend escapades in the frigid Minneapolis, MN, it’s that he knows how to make the best of a day off.
The two-time NBA champion is also known for having a sense of humor, but he wasn’t making a joke with the sweatshirt he was wearing. Outsiders might have assumed Curry’s Minnehaha Academy hoodie was meant as a joke about the bone-chilling cold in that neck of the woods — as in, Minne-hahahahaha-it’s-so-bleeping-cold.

Minnesotans, however, knew it was the name of a school with a top-ranked hoops team. Someone affiliated with the academy cleared up the mystery about why Curry was wearing the shirt (and offered to waive the five-dollar cost of tickets to the team’s games, so Curry could attend for free — har har, indeed).
Now, let’s hope Curry’s Super Bowl experience — and the jubilation of having his team come out victorious — will provide him with a spark to make a strong, final push through the games remaining before the All-Star break.
